Call for applications for YWPs to supervise the mapping of water supply customers.

                                                                              Water Customer Mapping Supervision

In partnership with Water for People and in close collaboration with WASAC & RURA, Rwanda Young Water Professional (RYWP) invites motivated and qualified young water professionals to apply for supervisory roles in the mapping of water supply customers across 25 districts in Rwanda. The targeted districts include Rwamagana, Gakenke, Kamonyi, Rubavu, Kirehe, Rulindo, Nyabihu, Musanze, Burera, Nyaruguru, Nyamagabe, Kayonza, Huye, Ngororero, Gicumbi, Nyamasheke, Rusizi, Gisagara, Rutsiro, Ruhango, Karongi, Muhanga, Ngoma, and Nyanza.

1. Required Qualifications and Skills for Supervisors

1.1 Educational Qualification:

A bachelor’s degree in water engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Surveying and Geomatics Engineering, geology, Geograph, or a related field.

1.2 Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • A basic understanding of water supply systems, including knowledge of various connection types such as households, industries, and public taps.
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in using mobile applications for data collection and reporting.

1.3 Additional Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage field teams and ensure the accuracy and quality of data collection.
  • Effective communication skills.
