1       Introduction/Background

1.1      About the Project

TheSUNCASA Project aims to implement gender-responsive Nature-based Solutions(NbS) to enhance the resilience of urban communities, watersheds, andbiodiversity against the impacts of climate change, while also reducingbarriers to the participation of women and other underrepresented groups intheir design and implementation.

As one ofthe technical implementing partners, the Rwanda Young Water Professionals(RYWP) is seeking quotations for the supply of an advancedGPS device to support the precise mapping and georeferencing of project sitesunder its ongoing initiatives. The equipment will play a critical role inmonitoring completed project areas and ensuring accurate and reliable datacollection for reporting and analysis purposes.

2       Descriptionof Required Equipment

  • Enough      memory capable to save enough waypoints, routes and fit activities.
   
  • Capable      to support multiple global satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS. GALILEO and      QZSS) for reliable tracking.
   
  • Include      worldwide basemap (will be an advantage),
   
  • Battery      life suitable for extended fieldwork
   
  • Comes      with necessary accessories (e.g., tripod, data cable, software license if      applicable)
   
  • Weight:      not more than 300g batteries included and Screen not more than 3 inch.
   
  • Available      space for additional memory (memory card) will be an advantage.
 
• Purpose: To enable accurate georeferencing and real-time tracking of     project implementation areas and completed works, facilitating reliable     data collection and analysis for reporting.

3        QuotationRequirements

Interested suppliers should provide the following:

• A     detailed quotation indicating the unit cost, total cost, and delivery     timeline
• Technical     datasheet or brochure of the offered device
• Warranty     and after-sales service terms
• Delivery     and installation (if applicable) timelines
• Valid     business registration and tax clearance certificates
• Reference     from at least two previous clients (preferably in similar fields)

4       Evaluation Criteria

Quotationswill be evaluated based on the following:

• Compliance     with technical specifications
• Cost-effectiveness     and value for money
• Delivery     timeframe
• Warranty     and service support
• Past     performance and client references
